Since beginning evangelism in London in 2012, I have met many different people and learnt that sharing the gospel is not simply about speaking well or persuading others. There were moments when conversations did not go the way I expected, when my words felt clumsy, and when I realised that no human effort can change a person’s heart. Through these experiences, God taught me to rely not on my own ability but on the Holy Spirit who works through every encounter.
As I continued evangelism, I discovered that the most meaningful witness often happens in ordinary, everyday situations. Simple conversations, unexpected meetings, and small acts of kindness became opportunities for Christ to be revealed. I learnt that evangelism is not a special event or a performance, but something that naturally flows from a life lived in Christ.
Galatians 3:6 reminded me that true faith is shown through obedience, and Galatians 2:20 taught me that it is Christ who lives in me. When I approached people without pressure or fear – simply responding when God prompted me – I began to experience the joy of letting go of my own limitations and participating freely in the Lord’s work.
Through these experiences, I realised that evangelism is not something separate from daily life, but a rhythm shaped by the Word and guided by the Spirit. My everyday routines, interactions, and habits became places where God’s grace could be shown.
I came to understand that proclaiming Jesus is something that happens naturally through daily life. The Jesus I encounter in my ordinary moments is the Jesus I am called to share. Even small gestures or brief conversations can become testimonies of His presence.
I pray that I may continue to recognise the Word God speaks to me, obey in faith, and share Christ through the life I live each day. May my ordinary moments become testimonies of His grace, and may I continue to proclaim the Jesus I experience in my daily life.
