Life is hard. Moses said that life is all about labour and sorrow (Psalm 90:10), and even Jesus also said that he would work hard and carry a heavy burden (Matthew 11:28). So, before you ask why life is so hard, you must think more about how to get through it. It is more about the ‘how’ than the ‘why’.
“His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” (John 9:2-3)
Although the disciples asked why he became like this, but Jesus told them about what God will do through him in the future. People who question the why usually is fixated in the past, but people who question the how look to the future. Looking back on the past is necessary to live properly in the present and the future but usually, it is done with an attitude of regret or despair. Rather it is more important for us to accept that we are vulnerable and can make mistakes and devote our energy in finding our saviour, Jesus.
The attitude that the gospel demands from us is to admit that we need His mercy and to constantly find Jesus Christ. Before making a things to do list, one should make time and do things that will allow us to get closer to Jesus. You should work on personality, work, relationships and ministry in the right order.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)
One of the famous quotes from Martin Luther King was that “If I don’t pray for 2 hours in the morning, the devil keeps winning that day. If I don’t pray for 3 hours every day when I have so many things to do, I can’t handle them”
It is certain when you find God, keep close to Jesus Christ, you can handle what He has allowed you to do. If you feel like your life is too much these days, you need to connect with God. Keep close to the bible and be honest in prayer.
Maybe it is due to weakness, or a tough situation. But the real reason is that you are not keeping close to God who gives us that power to hold on. The best solution to a situation is to pour your energy in the Word of God and prayer and engage with Him.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
