I am Anil Jung Thapa, a Nepali Christian, and I serve voluntarily as an elder at the Nepali Christian Community Church in Hounslow and as a youth coordinator in the UK. I am grateful to Pastor Lee and the leadership team for the opportunity to share my vision with you.
I was born into a high-caste Hindu family in Northwestern Nepal and accepted Jesus in 1998. My decision to follow Christ led to family rejection for 2.5 years, but my journey has been filled with many miracles. From 2006 I shared the Gospel in my hometown through social work. From 2009 to 2012, I worked and studied in South Korea, and returned to Nepal in 2012. Since 2013, I have been sharing the Gospel in my village.
I moved to the UK in 2017, where nearly 150,000 Nepalese families reside. Sharing the Gospel in Nepal is challenging due to the caste system, cultural barriers, and government restrictions – the UK offers greater opportunities to spread the message of Christ among Nepali people.

I am currently studying Biblical theology and teach the Bible to youth groups via Zoom (Mon-Thurs). I plan to visit individuals/families to establish fellowship and discipleship.
My goal is to share the gospel with new believers, teach and equip them to be sent out and establish churches, and to provide ongoing support for their growth and mission. I request your prayers for the Nepalese Bible training centre and worship team.
Thank you so much for reading. If you want to help fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) but cannot personally reach the unreached, through your prayers and support, someone else can go and reach them on your behalf, making you a part of the mission.
Please pray for Nepal and the Nepali community, that their hearts and doors be opened to the Gospel. Your prayers and support can make a difference.
